Male and Female Torso Studies

I recently decided on studying anatomy. I've been dodging it for years but I guess it's time I faced up to this difficulty. I started by tackling the biggest part of the figure--the torso. I copied the muscles first (not shown in the gallery) then I tried to simplify them. These studies were first done from reference, then from memory to help reinforce what I have learned. I found drawing breasts a bit difficult because of the subtlety of the curves. Oh well, this is just the beginning. More practice lies ahead.
